But this time, it was different. She saw him, someone she used to see everyday, but today, the way he looked at her, the spark in his eyes, made her heart skip a beat.
She knew she had fallen in love with the guy she never even thought of. She couldn't take her eyes off him. She would secretly look at him, dream about him and think of how beautiful her life would be with him. Never had she thought she'd do such things. But then, she had fallen in love. There was no looking back. The way he did things for her made her feel special. She wanted him. So she approached him. But he said he didn't feel for her. She tried. He backed off. He thought of her as just a friend. Her heart broke up into pieces.
The guy she loved, didn't love her back. "Maybe I didn't read the signs well. Maybe he's not the one. Maybe I was just being stupid!", she thought.
Days passed, she had changed. The girl who was always seen smiling, cracking jokes and laughing, was suddenly lost in the crowd.
She knew she had to move on. She tried but didn't succeed. Her whole world seemed like a different place. She had stopped smiling.
Then on one fine day, sitting on the bench near the sunset point, looking at the sky, she said " why did you make me fall for him when you knew he wouldn't fall for me?". And to her surprise, someone said "to make sure he knows what in life he'd miss without you". She turned around to find him standing there, with those sparkling eyes, a bouquet of roses in his hand. As she approached him, he bent on his knees with a wide smile and said " I'm not the kind of guy who'd fall for someone, but you my lady, made me forget all the rules I had made and fall in love. Your smile, without it, you don't look good. Your eyes, I cant see tears in..." She didn't let him say more, held him tight, kissed him...
Her love story finally took the path she dreamed of!
